NF300 Series

NF series cylindrical roller bearing is a rolling bearing widely used in mechanical transmission and equipment, with high load-bearing capacity and rigidity. This series of bearings is mainly composed of an inner ring, an outer ring and rollers. The cylindrical shape of the rollers enables them to withstand large radial loads and have low friction during high-speed operation. NF series bearings are particularly suitable for applications requiring high precision and stability, such as motors, reducers and industrial machinery. Product overview

NF300 series cylindrical roller bearings feature a double-ribbed outer ring and a single-ribbed inner ring, allowing limited axial displacement in one direction while supporting high radial loads. The line contact between rollers and raceways provides high stiffness under heavy radial forces. Rollers are guided by machined brass or pressed steel cages to reduce friction at high rotational speeds. The separable design enables independent mounting of inner and outer rings, facilitating assembly in applications with interference-fit shafts. Heat stabilization is applied for operating temperatures up to 150°C. Logarithmic roller crowning reduces edge stresses at the roller-raceway contact interface. Standard internal clearance groups include CN, C3, and C4 for thermal expansion compensation.

How to mount NF300 series with interference fit on shaft?
Heat inner ring using induction heater to 80-100°C above ambient. Do not exceed 120°C. Mount immediately and allow cooling before installing rollers and cage.

Lubrication method for speeds above 4000 rpm
Oil jet lubrication recommended for dN values exceeding 400,000 mm·rpm. Use ISO VG 68 oil with anti-wear additives. For grease lubrication, reduce relubrication interval to 500 hours.

Axial displacement allowance in NF design
The NF series permits axial movement of the shaft relative to housing up to 2.0 mm in one direction. For applications requiring bidirectional displacement, specify NUP or NU design.

  • Minimum radial load P ≥ 0.02 C required to prevent roller skidding at high speed
  • Do not apply pure axial load — NF series supports axial displacement only under radial load
  • When mounting with adapter sleeve, verify reduction of radial clearance by 0.02-0.04 mm
  • Replace cage if audible metallic noise occurs during no-load rotation
