N2200 Series

N series cylindrical roller bearings are an efficient and durable bearing type that are widely used in various mechanical equipment. The design feature of this series of bearings is that the rollers are cylindrical, capable of withstanding large radial loads, and are suitable for high-speed rotation situations. N series bearings usually have an inner ring and an outer ring. The width of the inner ring is larger than that of the outer ring, which provides better stability and load distribution. Its main advantages include low friction, long service life and high load-bearing capacity. In addition, this kind of bearing is easy to install and suitable for environments with heavy loads and large vibrations. Due to their excellent performance, N series cylindrical roller bearings are widely used in industrial machinery, automobiles, wind turbines and other heavy equipment.

The N2200 series cylindrical roller bearings feature a double-ribbed outer ring and a double-ribbed inner ring, providing guided roller sets on both raceways. This design allows limited axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing while supporting high radial loads. Rollers are guided by a one-piece machined brass cage or a pressed steel cage, reducing friction at high rotational speeds. The separable construction enables independent mounting of inner ring assembly and outer ring, simplifying maintenance in multi-bearing arrangements. Heat stabilization is applied for continuous operation up to 150°C. Logarithmic roller crowning reduces edge stresses at the roller-raceway contact. Standard tolerance class P0 with P6 available. Internal clearance classes CN, C3, C4 for different thermal expansion conditions.

Mounting orientationInner ring with rollers can be mounted separately from outer ring. When using interference fit on shaft, heat inner ring to 90°C maximum.
Lubrication selectionFor dN values above 300,000, use oil injection. For standard conditions, NLGI 2 lithium grease with 3000-hour relubrication interval.
Axial guidanceN2200 series accommodates axial displacement in both directions. For pure axial load applications, use angular contact bearings.
Failure symptomsIncrease of housing temperature above 90°C or abnormal vibration above 4.5 mm/s RMS indicates roller damage.
