The N1000 Series Cylindrical Roller Bearings are precision-engineered components designed to handle significant radial loads in high-speed rotating machinery. This series features a single row of rollers guided by the ribs of the inner ring, while the outer ring has no ribs, allowing for axial displacement between the shaft and housing in both directions. The internal geometry is optimized for reduced friction and heat generation, facilitating stable operation at high rotational frequencies. Utilizing high-carbon chromium steel (GCZ15/SAE 52100) and precision-machined cages, these bearings ensure dimensional stability and consistent clearance control across various industrial environments.

Installation and Maintenance Guidelines

Handling and Storage Conditions

Bearings must be stored in their original, unopened packaging in a temperature-controlled environment with a relative humidity not exceeding 60%. Avoid direct contact with the floor and keep away from heat sources or chemical vapors to prevent oxidation of the anti-rust coating.

Mounting Precautions

Use induction heaters for shrink-fitting to ensure uniform expansion. Do not apply direct hammer blows to the rings, as this may cause "brinelling" (permanent indentations) on the raceways. Ensure the shaft and housing bores are cleaned and checked for roundness and dimensional tolerance before assembly.

Lubrication Management

Select lubricants based on the operating temperature and DN factor (mean diameter multiplied by RPM). Over-greasing can lead to churning and excessive operating temperatures; typically, the free space in the bearing should be filled between 30% and 50% for standard applications.
