What internal clearance should I choose for my application?

C0 (normal) suits standard operating temperatures between 20°C and 80°C. C3 is recommended when the temperature differential between inner and outer rings exceeds 15°C, or for interference fit applications. C4 is specified for extreme temperature conditions or heavy interference fits.

Can 6300 series bearings handle axial loads?

Yes, the deep raceway geometry enables 6300 series bearings to support moderate axial loads in both directions. Axial load capacity is approximately 30-50% of the radial load rating, depending on the specific size and operating conditions.

What is the recommended mounting procedure?

Apply force evenly to the ring being mounted. Use a press with appropriate support sleeves. Never apply impact force directly to the bearing. For interference fits, use an induction heater to expand the inner ring to 80-100°C before mounting.

Storage
Store in original anti-rust packaging in a cool, dry area with relative humidity below 60% and stable temperature.
